On May 14, MBAConcert Fine Arts Foundation and the Amity Foundation together held the “Tango with Fingertips” dual piano concert at the Shanghai Lycenm Theatre. Talented local young pianists Mr. Wencheng Qin and Ms. Yingjun Hou from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music presented a wonderful dual piano concert.
Concert was hosted by Mr. Ming Zhang, a famous host from the Shanghai East Radio Station. Dr. Paolo Sabbatini, Director of Culture Affair at the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai, came by invitation and made an interesting introduction on the music of Italian composer Astor Piazzola.
Invited guests also included Mr. Roberts Stafeckis, Commissioner General of Latvia World Expo 2010 Shanghai, Ms. Xuelian Zhu, Chairman of Shanghai Friendship Association for Amity Foundation, Mr. Edmund Chow, Chairman of MBAConcert Fine Arts Foundation, and Ms. Yang Li, Director of PR & Resource Development of Amity Foundation.
Special thanks to Shanghai Dingsheng Piano Company and fashion brand La Mia for their generosity of providing service and support to the concert. All ticket proceeds from this performance were donated to the Amity Foundation, to be used in the “Back to School” project.
